I went to Edenville for two weeks. I came back a different person. Those people's hunger for the gospel broke me open. I can never go back to a comfortable Christianity after what I witnessed.

A youth-led SDA supporting ministry with one mandate: take the gospel to every un-entered community in South Africa.
Mission Cohort was born in 2017 out of a simple but weighty conviction: there are communities across South Africa where the Seventh-day Adventist message has never been proclaimed.
A small group of mission-minded youth gathered, recognised the gap, and decided to act. What began as a gathering has grown into a CIPC-registered ministry coordinating church planting, Bible worker deployment, and evangelistic campaigns across multiple provinces.
Our name reflects our heart: a cohort moves forward together. We are missionaries, not soloists.
Mission: To coordinate the planting of Seventh-day Adventist churches in un-entered areas and assist young people in developing mission groups in churches and campuses across South Africa.
Vision: To ensure the Adventist message reaches un-entered areas across South Africa and beyond.
Motto: "It's not a sacrifice, only a privilege."
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
— Matthew 24:14We go where God calls, not where it is comfortable. Faith is the currency of this mission — and we spend it freely.
We lead as Christ led — by serving. Our missionaries lay aside status, comfort, and security to follow the Master's example.
We are a cohort — we move as one. Every church, campus group, and missionary is part of the same mission body.
The Word of God is our foundation, message, and method. Every programme and campaign is anchored in Biblical truth.
We minister to the whole person — body, mind, and soul. Health, education, and community development accompany the gospel.
We believe time is short. The return of Christ is imminent. This conviction drives the pace and passion of everything we do.

A permanent outreach hub established in Arlington, Gauteng — hosting weekly health programmes, tutoring, and community development.
A Bible worker stationed in Edenville, Free State — beginning a church plant in a community with no Adventist presence. A company of believers is now established.
Our largest conference yet brought together 80+ young people. 12 committed to full-time mission service. 3 deployed to the field within the year.
With growing support, Mission Cohort is expanding into the Northern Cape, Limpopo, and KwaZulu-Natal.
Five focused areas of ministry — all in service of one goal: the Adventist message reaching every un-entered community in South Africa.
Our efforts provide care, training, and gospel witness — igniting hope and lasting impact.
